How does Letti A² maintain complete traceability and control across its dairy production system?
Letti A² operates the only dairy brand in Brazil with a complete line of milk and dairy products produced entirely on its own farm, maintaining total traceability and control at every stage. The portfolio is made with Grade A milk, exclusively A2 protein recognized for easier digestibility, and is supported by eight certifications. This fully integrated model defines the freshness, transparency, and consistency brought to households across the country.
What production process preserves freshness from milking to bottling at Letti A²?
Milk travels just 30 meters from the milking parlor to the dairy plant, where it is bottled within twenty-four hours and minimally pasteurized to preserve its original properties. All products are produced exclusively from A² protein milk, recognized for its natural digestibility. The portfolio includes yogurts, cultured milk, fresh cheeses, butter and cream—each made entirely on the farm using Grade A milk, the highest regulatory classification.
Quality oversight remains continuous. Every batch is tested daily by a food engineer, while independent third parties audit practices and validate them through eight certification seals covering origin, sustainability, animal welfare, recycling and production standards.
“Our mission as rural producers is to nourish the planet,” says Taís Jank, managing director.
What began in 1945 with the founding of Agrindus is now carried forward by sisters Taís and Diana Jank, who lead Letti A² as the fourth generation of the family. As the company approaches eighty years of continuous operation, they guide it with the same respect for land, people and animals that shaped earlier generations.
Technology and Innovation Powering Sustainable Growth
How has innovation shaped Letti A²’s dairy development across multiple generations?
Innovation has shaped Letti A² for generations. From early genetic innovation in the 1960s to pioneering a full A2 milk portfolio, each generation helped position Letti A² at the forefront of dairy advancement in Brazil.
The same discipline guides product development, focused on clean-label, nutritious and natural dairy made with aligned partners. This integrated approach led to Brazil’s first fully transparent PET milk bottle, reinforcing a commitment to trust, control and excellence.
Carrying the Legacy Forward
The principles guiding product development also inform how the company is led. Before assuming leadership, the sisters were encouraged to build experience beyond the farm.
The sisters returned to the business by choice, bringing global perspective and academic breadth to a legacy rooted in agricultural discipline.
Taís Jank serves as Director of Operations. Trained in law and raised on the farm, she became the first woman in the family’s history to lead operations and focuses on aligning strategy with on-farm execution.
Diana Jank as Marketing Director leads brand and strategic positioning. Under her leadership, Letti A² became one of Brazil’s most followed Grade A dairy brands on social media and led a market shift by introducing a new consumption habit in the country. The brand consolidated its position as a pioneer in producing a complete line of fresh dairy products free from A1 beta-casein.
The People Powering Every Pour
Together, the sisters have built more than 55,000 Instagram followers organically, supported by daily exchanges through messaging apps, phone calls, email and personalized events held on the farm. This direct channel informs product development and marketing decisions.
Inside the operation, belief shapes culture. Every role is treated as essential to nourishing the planet. More than 40 percent of employees have been with the company for over 10 years. More than half of management positions are held by women, a dynamic still uncommon in agribusiness.
How is customer feedback influencing Letti A²’s expansion into functional dairy products?
With operational discipline secured, innovation now turns toward building on its core portfolio. Ongoing dialogue with customers has revealed growing interest in functionality and differentiation beyond commodity dairy. In response, the portfolio is expanding thoughtfully into functional products. Protein-focused products are already part of the portfolio. Fiber enrichment is underway. Looking ahead, Letti A² aspires to one day introduce artisanal cheeses and ice creams, continuing its mission to elevate dairy consumption in Brazil beyond mass-market standards.
Controlling genetics, animal welfare, processing and packaging within a single farm ecosystem, Letti A² ensures that every bottle reflects production precision, traceable origin and nutritional integrity.
